There are a plethora ways to detox.

Here are a few suggestions:

  1. Sweating through sauna to rid toxins through sweat.
  2. Lymphatic Drainage via massage
  3. Hot and cold water plunge to get your circulation moving and clearing out toxins.
  4. Castor oil packs over the liver for not only detoxification but also anti-inflammatory effects.
  5. Fasting or 16-18 hours of intermittent fasting to give the gastrointestinal system a break.
  6. Water or Juice fasting
  7. Food Elimination
  8. Drink a detox shake and take supplements to cleanse the liver.
  9. Hybrid detox, which includes taking detox shake, supplements and eating one regular meal/day.
  10. Heavy metal detox for detoxing high mercury or lead.

There is no one detox better than the other.  Each type of detox serves a specific purpose.  Which detox is more fitting for you depends on your goal.
